My Notes on AI​

  • Fri Dec 13: I’ve been playing with the new Sequoia 15.2 with ChatGPT integration for a few days, and it’s great. AI integrated into the OS works in most applications not owned by Apple. I can use its writing tools in Microsoft Outlook to proofread and enhance my email drafts.

  • Mon Dec 23: Is Microsoft working on a fundamentaly different AI ready OS? Should I be even bother mastering silly apps such as Excel and Word? I don't think people will start with a blank page or blank spreadsheet in the future. They will start with a blank AI agent and tell it what they want to do. The AI agent will then create the document or spreadsheet for them. We will just edit the AI agent's work.

  • Everyone will have their own AI agent that will handle daily bullshit such as scheduling, booking, and other repetitive tasks. My agent can talk to your agent and they can figure out the best time for us to meet.
